I've heard tell that getting wisdom teeth pulled out is a mundane ritual almost everyone in the civilized world goes through. Having been inducted just yesterday into the halls of deliberately dislodged dentation, I must add a footnote: It frackin' hurts! Not when when the "dental expert" is leaning over you, lulling you into a comfortable stupor (aided by laughing gas, of course), but afterwards when, say, you finally get to satisfy that crippling craving for bad chinese food you've been hiding deep inside for weeks! Simply not fair. Not fair at all.

The dentist made sure to make it worse for me, however. He only de-wisdomized the left side of my jaw, and wants me to go back and have the ones on my right pulled out when my left side has healed. Why? Probably because it'll hurt me for an extra week or two. Stupid dentist, get your thrills from something else! (Actually, my dentist is awesome, and he's got a cool dog. I just wanted to vent my anger at not being able to eat all the Chinese food I want.)
